Haouamine biosynthesis ?
Baran found out biosynthesis of haouamine 1 via 4 is not possible .fig. 1, so turned down a proposed biosynthesis route by a french group. scheme 2.

Baran's synth of it a while back was sweet, I dont rememeber what the last step was but i remember it formed the phenol ring from like a lactone for a alkyne, by working off CO2. It was pretty.
